It's not always easy to find the words to say, especially when someone is facing a loss. We have some ideas here of things you may write in a sympathy card. (See the image below for ideas.) If you personally knew the person who passed away, we recommend adding a positive note about a specific memory with the person. Sometimes the person who is grieving just needs to know that you care, they are in your prayers, and that you are there for them if they need anything.
