Valentine's Day is coming up soon, so we'd like to highlight a love-themed book we currently have in stock (at the time of this post) as both an imperfect book and also a used book. All For Love is a paperback book of 3 historical romance novellas of love and laughter. The stories were written by three bestselling, award-winning Christian fiction authors: Mary Connealy, Kristi Ann Hunter, and Jen Turano. Mary Connealy's "The Boden Birthright" journeys to the Old West where ranch hand Chance Boden's determination to be his own boss is challenged by his employer's pretty daughter. Kristi Ann Hunter's "A Lady of Esteem" follows a Regency-era young lady whose reputation in society and chance at love are threatened by a nasty rumor. Jen Turano's "At Your Request" tells of a young woman who is humbled at her newly lowered status in society when she is reunited with the very man whose proposal she rejected. If you are a fan of historical romance with a Christian theme, get this book of three stores to read. They are stories of giving it all to find a happily-ever-after love. After you read the stories in this book, let us know what you think of them! This book is published by Bethany House, a Christian publisher. Happy reading! On Sale On Sale All For Love (Imperfect)

As Christians, we understand that the Bible is our guidebook to life. When we have a problem, we know where to turn - finding answers in the Word of God, through prayer and fasting as we meditate on the Scriptures, hearing the Word preached in a local Bible-believing church, and receiving Biblical guidance from godly friends who will support us in the faith while pointing us to Jesus. The Word of God is so powerful, and upon that realization as Christ's followers, we trust the Bible for wisdom in making good decisions. In Hebrews 4:12 (ESV) we learn this: "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart." Psalm 119:105 (ESV): "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV): "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." Those Scripture verses are just a few of many that point out the importance of God's Holy Word - the Bible. It is relevant to every day life, and holds truths that help us walk out our faith daily. Staying grounded in the Word takes effort because it's something we must choose to do. It happens when we read it, meditate on it, memorize it, hear it, speak it, and act on what we've learned in it. We want to be rooted in the Word so we are deeply and firmly established in it, experiencing growth as it strengthens our connection with God so we can withstand the storms of life. There are three practical ways to prioritize Bible reading, which are laid out below.
