"When things are unknown, there is a light that points us to a safe harbor. When things are uncertain, there is an anchor that holds us secure. It is my prayer that during this time of illness your heart will be assured of the things that matter most. The Bible reminds us that none of us can be certain of what tomorrow will bring, but it does tell us that we can be certain of the things that matter most. *We can be certain that God loves us. He loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son to die for us. **We can be certain that we are forgiven. Jesus Christ shed His blood upon the cross so that our sins could be forgiven. ***We can be certain that we have eternal life. Eternal life is found in the person of Jesus Christ. That life becomes ours when we receive Him into our hearts by faith. ****We can be certain that we are going to heaven. We do not go to heaven because we have been sincere or good people. We go to heaven because we have put our faith in Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord.
